Can I use SuperFeet BLACK Engergizer Shoe Orthotics in Gore-Tex lined boots?
That isn’t recommended. The ridges on the heel area of these shoe inserts can cut through the Gore-Tex lining.
Can I use these inserts in ice skates?
They may fit, but the insole may be too wide to fit down into the skate properly. Instead, we recommend using SuperFeet YELLOW insoles, the right choice because they’re specifically designed for use in hockey and figure skates.
What’s the difference between the different colored SuperFeet inserts?
The difference is based on the style of the shoe into which the product goes. BLACK insoles are for dress shoes and similar footwear that fits tightly. See the product descriptions of other color-coded SuperFeet insoles for more information on each of those.
Why are BLACK insoles recommended for golf shoes?
Superfeet BLACK Engergizer Shoe Orthotics work great in golf shoes because the design tapers in the arch of the plastic cap on the bottom of the insole, meaning it takes up a bit less room in golf shoes than other SuperFeet insoles. If your athletic shoes have removable insoles, consider using GREEN, BLUE or BLACK insoles instead.
What action can I take if SuperFeet Insoles make my shoes and feet smell?
Keeping your shoes, feet and insoles clean is the key to solving this problem. That means you should remove the insoles from your shoes every night, avoid wearing the same pair of shoes more than three days in a row and also try different brands of socks and nylons. You may find success with applying baby powder under and on top of the footbed in your shoes. For your feet themselves, apply scented body lotion and try soaking them in Epsom salts for 20 minutes at least once or twice a week.
